Kelsey J. Waite of The A.V. Club depicted the collection as proof of Harding's "order of her specialty" yet regretted that "the awesome foundation experimentation, bleating wind instruments, and appearances by Mike Hadreas (Fragrance Virtuoso) are at last too slight to even think about lending the record much in the method for elements.
