RESPITE CARE
We operate in a 24/7 model of planned or emergency temporary care provided to caregivers of a child or adult with intellectual disability. We provide both flexible and centre-based.
Each respite facility house can accommodate 3 to 4 clients. We would like to keep the number of clients in a house to a maximum of 4 to fully support them individually especially having to meet their person-centred goals.

COMMUNITY ACCESS ACTIVITIES
Community access programs are usually done outside of the centre either at a community venue or an area of the clients’ choice. These activities include church programs on Sundays or during the week. This is an opportunity for our clients and their families to meet members of the community and to participate in programs and activities carried out in integrated settings. The organisation has learnt that these community activities have helped in building their self-confidence and uphold the sanctity of human life.
“When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous” (Luke 14:12–14)
